Having started on 8th September 2023, she has been kicking off her “Charge Around The Globe” in the new electric Ford Motor Company Explorer. Departing from Nice, France, Lexie will travel across six continents and more than 30 countries. Her mission? To showcase the incredible capabilities of an electric vehicle and make history as the first person to circumnavigate the globe in one. The journey is inspired by Aloha Wanderwell. Over 100 years ago, she made automotive history as the first woman to set off on a groundbreaking journey around the world in a Ford Model T. And Lexie will now recreate the trip but all-electric.
