Hiring For Go Engineers: When Go Experience Is Merely a ‘Bonus’
Right now on Triplebyte, Go is the fifth most popular kind of tech stack experience that recruiters filter candidates by. But engineers aren't running to learn it, with the language ranked 20th for skills listed by candidates. Here's how hiring companies are recruiting for the young back-end-oriented language. read()
wfh://engineering: How to Work Asynchronously on a Team and Not Waste Time
Changing the way you manage your time is one of the biggest challenges when you start working remotely as a software engineer. Onsite work is to remote work as synchronous programming is to asynchronous programming. If you're used to the former, the latter requires a paradigm shift in the way you think about the basics. read()
Is React Eating Angular? (And Which One Should You Be Using?)
As local market trends begin to skew towards React, it’s easy to question the future of demand for Angular. It feels like a one-or-the-other kind of game, and it makes you wonder which one of these JavaScript-backed developer technologies you should pick up, especially when you’re just entering the fray. read()

?? Is “I’ll go back to fix it later” a bad coding strategy? Dev.to co-founder Ben Halpern argues it’s not. In a new thread at the programmer community site, Halpern writes that opponents of refactoring (essentially a system for going back to reorganize blocks of code all at once for better efficiency) aren’t giving it a chance. “Knowing nobody will return to improve the code is a self-fulfilling prophecy,” he says. What do you think? read()
??????????????? Triplebyte is incubating ColorStack! I really believe in the work that Jehron Petty and his ColorStack non-profit are doing to improve diversity in software engineering at the college level, and I'm proud that this week Triplebyte announced a plan to help scale it. TB CEO Ammon Bartram on the partnership: “In three years, ColorStack tripled Black and Latinx enrollment in the computer science major at Cornell. … [We’re looking forward] to providing access to our network of companies and engineers to help ColorStack [launch in universities across the country] more quickly.” read()
?? Not even our IDEs are safe from malware. A new shootoff of the XCSSET malware class has been found in Mac Xcode projects. The exploit can make its way to Safari and other browsers on your system while the trojaned project builds. As the Trend Micro report that unveiled the bug smugly puts it: "The method of distribution used can only be described as clever." read()
? Microsoft wants you to work on its open-source projects. On its new site, opensource.microsoft.com, the company provides info on and access to all of its open software — all in on place. These projects are, of course, all hosted on GitHub (which is owned by Microsoft), and there is some pretty cool synergy in the “Happening now” section of the site where the latest changes and “help wanted” requests for things like TypeScript and Windows Terminal are popping up in real time. read()

4 年The Ai2BoT application is the nucleus of the Atom formula webmasters have created. It is a very complex thing. Worry Not! Our jeruelle and kajeenterprise/numbers team has made this a simple project and the option for all can be found in your favorite tab. The day for scientific knowledge is coming to a close in man. People will only need higher learning to use primarily cognitive living and leadership skill.
