HOT NEWS from RMGT & RMM: Relevant Packaging a US based packaging customer purchases second RMGT press

RM Machinery (RMM), one of four distributors in North America that covers Canada and regions within the United States, received a signed order for the 1060TP-8(7/1)+CC+LD from Relevant Packaging, a full-service folding carton and paperboard packaging company located in Omaha, Nebraska.

?The eight-color press contains a wide range of packaging solutions including a skeleton transfer cylinder (with paper thickness of 0.2-0.8 mm), an automatic nonstop feeder, a delivery shutter, a retractable coating unit with a semiautomatic plate changing function, and the PQS-D (I+C+R) quality control system. The press will have the ability to print both UV and conventional inks and coatings.

The agreement follows the success of a previous RMGT installation that took place in 2022. Mr. Gus Gubalke, vice president of operations for Relevant Packaging, wasted no time investing in an RMGT 1050LX- 6+CC+LD shortly after he began working for the Nebraska-based company. Having had plenty of experience maintaining multiple Mitsubishi presses at his previous employer, Mr. Gubalke knew that RMGT offered the reliable quality and stellar reputation once available from Mitsubishi. The 1050LX- 6+CC+LD proved to be a highly efficient press running 24 hours a day producing nearly four million impressions per month.

On June 20, 2023, Mr. Gubalke visited the Fuchu factory in Japan for a complete demonstration of the RMGT 1060TP-8(7/1)+CC+LD, which included test runs of the automatic nonstop feeder and delivery system, inline quality control function designed to check for defects, and register and density tracking systems. "I love it," said Mr. Gubalke as he watched the tandem perfector print flawless images sheet after sheet. He was immediately sold on the press’ performance.

The installation of the eight-color press is scheduled to be completed in October 2023. RMM and RMGT have prepared a detailed schedule in collaboration with Relevant Packaging’s production schedule to ensure that the installation runs smoothly and quickly.
