The Hot Jobs Newsletter, Powered By Talent Dynamics For January 24th

This week we begin the newsletter with an update on new searches, so far nine new searches this week.? I also want to talk about the current state of big-time anchor jobs. I have had conversations with agents and talent in the past week about the current situation, so hopefully I can help clear things up. The fact of the matter is, there are not a significant amount of M-F anchor jobs available. Are there some out there we don't know about? Sure, that always is the case but of the known roles out there, the jobs are not plentiful. Why is this happening? TV groups for the most part need to get some transparency into the revenue situation will be for 2025, from what I hear (depends on your location) January has been ok, February might be a challenge, especially if last year your station had the Big Game! But all in all, I think the mood from folks is so far so good. We have five new roles this week, and many roles we have brought up in the past are still open and stations are still looking for them.
