In 2019, a systematic review of 40 clinical studies was published. The studies involved a total of 3,855 participants. Most of the studies reported beneficial health effects from dry sauna bathing. However, it's important to note that most of the studies were small (n < 40) and only 13 studies were randomized controlled trials.
