Hosted AICTE-Sponsored ATAL FDP on Energy Revolution
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) at SNS College of Engineering successfully organized an AICTE-sponsored ATAL Faculty Development Program (FDP) on the theme “Revolutionizing Energy: The Role of Disruptive Technologies in Electrical Systems” from 02.12.2024 to 07.12.2024. The program, aimed to provide educators and professionals with insights into emerging technologies transforming the energy sector.
This FDP brought together experts, researchers, and academicians to discuss innovations shaping modern electrical systems. Key topics included the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and blockchain in energy management. Sessions highlighted the role of renewable energy, smart grids, and energy storage systems in addressing global energy challenges.
Participants gained hands-on exposure to advanced tools and techniques, fostering the adoption of disruptive technologies in academic and industrial contexts. Renowned speakers from academia and industry shared real-world applications and case studies, emphasizing the importance of sustainable and efficient energy solutions.
The program underscored the transformative potential of these technologies in achieving energy efficiency, reliability, and sustainability. By equipping participants with cutting-edge knowledge, the FDP reaffirmed SNS College of Engineering’s commitment to driving innovation and excellence in engineering education.
