There have been lots of recent articles on overall rising costs related to restaurant operations. I was honored to contribute to this piece to continue to shed light to unaware diners as to why restaurants (and the overall cost of eating) has risen. Let's continue to celebrate the establishments and workers who continue to create spaces and experiences for us to cherish.??

We have witnessed so many positive changes that this industry has undergone over the past few years. As the industry's hiring platform, Culinary Agents has always been on the forefront of the ongoing challenges around job seeking, recruiting and hiring. One thing has become apparent, there is still a gap in expectations around skills, qualifications and compensation and lack of data to support (and quite frankly motivate) talent in their chosen career path.?

This summer Culinary Agents will launch a first of its kind website dedicated to hospitality careers with a focus on compensation data transparency to support the industry. It's a starting point to push the conversation and professionalization of the industry and a new platform to build together.?
