“The watch on my wrist showed 5:30 pm, exactly one hour behind schedule. The clock on my laptop had something else to say, 2:47 pm. Sigh. I pick up my phone to call the technician for the 7th time. Or was it 6th? By now, I’ve already lost my patience, time and most likely, my client. I’m just about to press the call icon when suddenly I see my cursor move. Excited, I hastily touch my keyboard. When nothing moves, realisation points towards another false alarm. Feeling dejected, I realise that my helplessness is making me see things. I recheck my watch; it’s 6:00 pm, and at that very moment I see my client's name flash on my phone’s screen. Do I sense a long night ahead? Yes. Do I sense impending doom? Yes, definitely. I take a deep breath and pick up the phone…”
Every fan of the horror genre would agree that no horror story tops a good old office horror story. Unfortunately, most of the office horror stories have a disturbing ending.
