Hey Morfollower,

Sometimes, you just have to see the glass half full. Even though climate change is hitting Brazil hard, I truly believe we need to stay hopeful. In the aftermath, we need to find resilience, hope, and maybe even some beauty.

The need to reforest—on a large scale and with quality—has never been more urgent. Whether it's in New York, where the Brazilian community made a strong impact and our meetings show things are moving in the right direction; in French Guiana, where our 2-year-old plantations are thriving; in southern Bahia, where we’ve got some exciting updates; or in Rio, where we’re starting to restore Serra da Posse—there's definitely hope (yes, still!).

Nature inspires us, and what we really need now are restoration projects that bring back biodiversity and resilience.

Cheers,

Pascal Asselin,

Co-founder of MORFO
