Best Advice: Hope is Key to Thrive

Best Advice: Hope is Key to Thrive

Wednesday was a great day for me for many reasons. One of those reasons is the genuine and meaningful phone conversation I had with a friend who lives and works in Silicon Valley. I was inspired and encouraged by our conversation. Inspiration and encouragement are typically the effects that these type conversations have on me, and I simply love it. As we started to wrap up our conversation, my friend persuaded me to write my next LinkedIn post about three specific things, one of them being "hope." I was very open to the idea and here I am writing about hope first.

Hope helps me to step out of my comfort zone and explore new areas of self-improvement that are beneficial and - at times - necessary in my life. IKC

I believe that hope is powerful and is a key to success, though not necessarily the kind of success that is connected to power, fortune, and fame. Hope has helped me keep striving no matter what difficulties have emerged in my life. Hope gives me courage to face obstacles. Hope helps me overcome tough challenges. Hope helps me to step out of my comfort zone and explore new areas of self-improvement that are beneficial and - at times - necessary in my life. Hope helps me reach my goals.

I believe that hope has more power than money and fame because the majority of people who have these things in excess usually misuse them or take them for granted. Now, there are people in my circle of life who are not rich nor famous and I consider them highly successful people. They are wise, grateful, respectful, joyful, caring, healthy, and generous; they hold true to their values and embrace a life of hope. Success to these people is about their quality of life.

Hope is so powerful that it has become an anchor in my life. IKC

Hope has inspired philosophers, scientists, lawyers, professors, theologists, doctors, and many other people since the beginning of times. Hope is so powerful that it has become an anchor in my life, and I am sure in the life of other people, people like you who are reading this now. Hope is believing and expecting that things will work out for the best in one way or another. Hope is invisible, you can't see it nor touch it. Hope is much more than a positive attitude expecting a positive outcome; it is something that you believe deep within yourself.

Hope has to do with your future not your past. Hope is so essential to succeed personally and professionally. I believe hope is the unseen force that sustains you through life and is there to help you get up when you fall, no matter how many times you fall and why you fall. An important aspect of hope is to learn to wait expectantly and not passively. I think there is hope in every human being. Otherwise how you made it to this day?

"There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something tomorrow." O. S. Marden

Hope is a state of mind, some hope, no hope, Bob Hope. Hope to Thrive should become the better known phrase for all. I like your thinking!
