MY RECAP
The S&P finished the year up 23%. This marks the second consecutive year of annual gains exceeding 20%, which has not happened since 1998!
This January 3 marks the three-year anniversary since the peak before the 2022 bear market. The S&P 500 would go on to decline 25% before bottoming ten months later. Despite the decline, the S&P 500 is up 8.7% on an annualized basis and has notched 57 record highs since that peak.
How did your equity portfolio perform this year? Since the start of 2022? Is it meeting your goals?

MY FAMILY
Winter is here and we are excited to build snowmen and drink hot coco. This season, Lili is working on big-budget film projects that need financing, Clio is learning to ski, and Maya is eating snow.
Despite typical, everyday challenges, it was a great year for us – we moved into our new home, Lili stared in a feature filmed in Tuscany, and the girls spent a lot of the summer in Hungary.
In 2025, we want to continue to expand roots in our new community, grow our businesses, and reconnect with friends.

RAYMOND JAMES MARKET RECAP
December 2024 saw market volatility after Fed reduced expected rate cuts from four to two for 2025, with inflation remaining above 2% target.
While mega-cap tech stocks stayed strong, small-caps struggled with Russell 2000 dropping 7.8%. The S&P 500 ended 2024 up 23.31%, marking second consecutive year of 20%+ gains.
Notable concerns included European political instability, rising commodity prices (especially cocoa's 150% surge), and mixed U.S. employment signals. Despite adding 227,000 jobs in November, household employment survey showed 335,000 worker decline, pushing unemployment to 4.2%
