HOPE FOR THE SCATTERED.

FOUNDATION SCRIPTURE:

? Ezekiel 6:8 ?

"Yet I will leave a remnant, for you shall have some who escape the sword among the nations, when you are scattered through the countries."

HOLY SPIRIT, HAVE YOUR WAY.

In the midst of harsh judgment against the rebellious Israelites, God gave a tender promise - though they would be scattered among the nations, He would preserve a faithful remnant. Some would escape the coming sword of exile and displacement. Though scattered, they would not be abandoned.

The themes of scattering and remnant echo throughout Scripture. God's people have endured season after season of dispersion and oppression. Whether scattered by Assyrian or Babylonian invasions, or the unspeakable tragedies of the Holocaust, it seemed at times that the Jewish nation would be permanently disbanded, swallowed up by the surrounding nations.

Yet in every era of displacement, God preserved His faithful remnant scattered among the world. His covenant promises could not be quenched. Through famine, pogrom, and persecution - still, a remnant remained. Like an inextinguishable spark, the hope for restoration lived in their hearts.

Friends, we all experience "scattered" seasons that threaten to extinguish our faith. Sudden loss or devastating circumstances can make us feel pulled apart and displaced, tempting us to lose hope that God still has a plan. In those darkest hours, the enemy whispers that we've been abandoned to wander aimlessly without restoration.

But this verse assures us that even when we see "the world occupying the seats in the churches" today, our Abba Father preserves His faithful remnant, His Church , The True Body of Christ. We have not been forgotten or cast aside. Though the temporary situation is painful, it cannot nullify His eternal promises toward us and our spiritual descendants!

No matter how bleak circumstances feel, your Heavenly Father reminds you today: "You are my treasured remnant, and I will never abandon you to the enemy's sword. Though you feel scattered for a season, I am carefully regathering every particle of faith until I restore you to your promised inheritance!"

The God who watched over the remnant of His people through every season of their history will do the same for you. Do not lose hope in the scattering, for He has bigger purposes to display His glory through your story. Amen.

1) Prayer of repentance and forgiveness

"People who conceal their sins will not prosper, but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy." Proverbs 28:13.

- Confess your sins and shortcomings. Ask God for forgiveness.

2) Almighty God, I admit I do feel, alone, displaced and tempted to lose hope. Thank You for reminding me am part of Your preserved remnant, today, in Jesus Christ's Name.

3) Almighty God, You are The One who regathers what has been scattered. I choose to trust You during this painful season. Protect and guide Your remnant, and use us to display Your faithfulness to the world. In Jesus Christ's Mighty Name, amen.
