Hope for the Holidays: A Call to Action This #GivingTuesday

The holiday season is a time of joy, giving, and community. But for many families in our area, it can also be a time of stress and uncertainty. At the Community Christmas Store, we are determined to change that narrative—one family at a time.

This year, our Hope for the Holidays: A Community Christmas Campaign is reaching further than ever before. We are proud to serve 390 families and 952 individuals, including:

?? Single-parent households

?? Seniors and individuals with special needs who are without family

?? Blended families and large households of six or more

This marks an increase of 46 additional families compared to last year, and the need is significant. We have set an ambitious but achievable goal: to raise $9,200, providing $200 for every new family on our list.

Why It Matters

The families we serve are not just names on a list—they are our neighbors in Roanoke County, Craig County, the Town of Vinton & Salem. They are parents working tirelessly to provide for their children, seniors who deserve dignity and warmth, and individuals navigating life’s challenges.
