Hope and Faith In Dark Times - Angels in the Attic

Hope and Faith In Dark Times - Angels in the Attic

I have had such an amazing life, filled with love, kindness, generosity and luck. I have traveled extensively and met so many wonderful people. A few years back, I hired a young woman, Kristine Kuroski to manage my Comcast/Walmart sales team in Nashville.  Kristine was a shining light, she was energetic, self disciplined, articulate, and determined to move upward. I spent a lot of time working with  Kristine to develop the Nashville market to sales success and I was getting to know Kristine personally.

All the while I was mentoring Kristine, Kristine shared her life story with me and she in turn was mentoring me! Kristine became my inspiration and I knew that I had to find a way to help Kristine both in delivering her message and in receiving her messages gifts.

SHARING HOPE and FAITH in Dark Times

Angels in the Attic started almost 4 years ago in Kristine's small one bedroom apartment, it was January 4th, 2012.

Kristine and her children are survivors of domestic abuse.  Kristine wanted to help others overcome the same obstacles she had faced. She specifically wanted to help other women and children, just like her. Although Kristine did not have much for herself during those times, she was connected to many women friends who had resources and believed in Kristine and her desire to help others like her.

Kristine told me that a woman in an abusive relationship feels trapped. If they leave, they leave with very little, if anything at all.

Kristine's plan was simple, she would take in donations, both small amounts of money and personal items, like clothing, beds,  and food with the simple goal to help abused women and their children get back on their feet in their new home after leaving their abuser.

Kristine has been blessed with the pleasure of walking with many women in her life, sharing her testimony, and her faith in God. Kristine believes that God has a plan for her. Kristine's abuse was a horrible situation, but through the work of others and God's presence, Kristine found recovery and hope and most importantly her message to deliver to others. Kristine's message is inspiring, uplifting and will bring tears to your eyes. Kristine has brought tears of joy to my eyes on many occasions. Kristine is helping women and children just like her.

Kristine's success with Angels in the Attic  is because she is so determined to give back.   Please join me in helping Kristine continue to deliver her message of HOPE and FAITH to women and children experiencing dark times!

Kristine's Message:

At Christmas each year,  many of the women I have helped are working but need just a little extra help. During my first year of beginning Angels in the Attic,  we helped 37 people that Christmas. It was an amazing feeling!

The second year, now residing in Indiana,  we helped 78 women and children. These were women and children, families from both Nashville, where I started started Angels in the Attic and South Bend, Indiana where I currently live.  Last year was our biggest success to date helping over 111 people total! (78 children and 33 families) This year we are expecting even more!

I am reaching out to people who want to connect with a small ministry and who want to know exactly how your money is helping others in need. We are not big, I do not get paid to do this. I genuinely want to just help others and share hope and faith in dark times.

For a family of 2-3, on average we spend $250.00 to complete their Christmas. We typically buy each child a warm outfit, boots or coat if needed, a couple toys from their interest list and books. We help the mom with a household basket, gift card for groceries or gas and a little something for her too.

If you would like to partner with us this year, please write and mail checks to Angels in the Attic c/o Kristine Kuroski 3109 Wilder Drive South Bend,  IN 46615.

I want to sincerely thank each of you for partnering with me to help others in need!  Blessings Always!

Please join me in helping Kristine. A small donation goes a long way and any size is greatly appreciated. I have set a personal goal this year to help Kristine reach at least 10 more women and their children beyond those she is already helping. I need your help. You can contact Kristine or myself at 1-760-304-2300. Thank you in advance for your consideration, kindness, generosity and hope!

All my best,
