During Human Trafficking Prevention Month, I’ve been following Shared Hope International’s 30-day Prayer Guide to combat the sex trafficking of minors in the United States and around the world. (See https://sharedhope.org/ for more information and resources.)
With a problem so pervasive and overwhelming, where better to start than with prayer?
The guide is multifaceted, addressing all core aspects of this issue—victims, traffickers, and buyers, as well as freedom advocates, survivors, and caregivers. I highly recommend it during this nationally recognized month of awareness or as a resource before launching any local campaign.
As a Shared Hope volunteer ambassador, I encourage everyone to be aware of these key truths:
By raising awareness, you may help protect the tender heart of someone close to you.
