Hooray for Dollywood

Funny thing happened when they cancelled the Shades of the Past Hot Rod Roundup in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee this month. Hundreds of cars are showing up anyway. We took this picture in Pigeon Forge near Dollywood (Dolly Pardon's famous resort.) The show, supposed to be this weekend, September 11-12, was cancelled. The show cars came anyway, and now they are making their own car show on the streets of Pigeon Forge. They say this scene goes on for miles. We suspect that many rodders are just arriving early for the Fall Pigeon Forge Rod Run, September 17-19, 2020 at The LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge next weekend. That one has not been cancelled. It is the biggest car show held in Pigeon Forge each year. And that's saying a lot since they have a lotta' car shows here.
