Hook, line, and sinker

And that's how this ongoing Corona pandemic converted a p(print)-book lover like me into an ebook lover.

Being a voracious reader, I have always prefered my books with the inimitable texture of paper. Ahh! that sweet paper-y smell of a new book. Also, I happen to be that breed of book lovers that orders more books than they read. Yes, my bookshelves are overflowing and I haven't read most of them.

But then social distancing happened. Until this lockdown, I didn't realise that I was addicted to the act of reading and not to the shapes and sizes of books. I mean, I do miss having a new book in my lap. But this period of isolation has made the importance of the act of reading clear to me.

Thanks to the platforms like Juggernaut Books I'm gobbling ebooks like never before and keeping my sanity in check.
