Honoured with Direct Materials Resource Achievement Award at Nestlé Supplier Awards 2024

At InterFlex UK (Toppan), we are proud to announce that we’ve been awarded the prestigious Direct Materials Resource Achievement Award at the Nestlé Supplier Awards 2024. This award is not just a recognition of our performance but a testament to the collective effort of every team member who has worked tirelessly to support Nestlé’s sustainability and innovation goals.

Over the last 20+ years, our partnership with Nestlé has grown from strength to strength. Today, 98% of our product portfolio is made from recyclable materials, and we are honoured to be helping Nestlé achieve its ambitious target of 100% recyclable or reusable packaging.

One of our most notable achievements is the successful transition of Quality Street to twist wraps to PAPRFLEX-TW our fully recyclable packaging—removing 2.5 billion individual pieces of packaging from the global supply chain. This was no small feat, but through close collaboration with Nestlé and our deep commitment to sustainable practices, we’ve made a tangible impact on both the environment and the future of packaging.

Receiving this award validates our focus on creating innovative solutions, maintaining 98% VES score performance across 7 Nestlé sites, and ensuring that 98% of the products we supply are recyclable. But beyond the numbers, it’s about being a trusted partner and continuously striving for excellence in everything we do.

Special recognition also goes to Myra Bracewell and Leanne Leach, whose individual awards reflect the outstanding leadership, creativity, and resilience they have shown. Whether it’s overcoming supply chain disruptions or leading key innovations, they are true examples of what makes InterFlex UK successful.
