An honour to sponsor Beefys Bash
Highlights from Cricket legend Sir Ian Botham celeb-filled 60th birthday & fundraiser bash this weekend!
Sir Ian, UK patron of Dollarsandart signed both the $1 and the £20 note for the commissioned artwork 'Red on Green Colourblind' ($) which was auctioned off at an extra special event at the Getty Estate at Wormsley Cricket club for Beefy's foundation
Shane Warne : Fresh from his Lords fundraiser kindly signing the $1
Beefy has invested more than 30 years and walked more than 12000 miles for charity - hosted a summer party, with pals including singer Eric Clapton, James Anderson, Piers Morgan, Jeffrey Archer, Wasim Akram & Shane Warne
Proud to sponsor & host a great table of guests!
I was pleasantly surprised on how pleasant & knowledgeable Pier Morgan is who was only too happy to sign the $ for future fund raising...
Piers Morgan : Really enjoyable company - not bad at cricket aswell!
The larger than life flyer for Beefys bash
It was auction time with no other than Lord Archer on the mic as one of only 6 live auction items, alongside the signed Eric Clapton guitar that raised £27,000 - no pressure then!
Lord Archer was an exceptional auctioneer, kindly signing the $ for Dollarsandart with 'Red & Green Colourblind($)' raising £4,500 for a great cause bought by an Art collector who pipped Shane Warne in the bidding!
Hats off to Sarah Botham (pictured above left of Sir Ian) for organising such a memorable event with over £120,000 expected to be raised. Finishing off with an intimate gig by long time pal of Sir Ian Botham was the one and only Eric Clapton (CBE)
A quality day with great company, weather and banter and without doubt one of the highlights of Dollarsandart so far.....
