"We need the courage to learn from our past and not live in it."

Reflection:
We all carry pain from the past. Sometimes, we get caught reliving it, letting it color our present. Other times, we try to push it down, hoping it disappears. But there’s a courageous alternative: to face it, honor it, and learn from it—without letting it define us.
The past has lessons to offer, but only when we’re willing to approach it with curiosity rather than fear. It’s not about erasing old wounds or pretending they never happened. Instead, it’s about seeing them clearly, acknowledging their impact, and allowing them to guide us toward growth and resilience. In doing so, we begin to reclaim our power—stepping forward with greater wisdom and compassion for ourselves and others.
Action:
Today, take a moment to reflect on one past experience that still lingers in your thoughts. Ask yourself: What can I learn from this? What strength did I gain from this experience? Remind yourself that you are not defined by this experience—you are shaped by how you choose to move forward.
Let the past be your teacher and not your anchor.
