We grew up knowing how powerful words could be, powerful enough to break or make a person. However, we wish they were powerful enough to bring the departed back. But sometimes words are necessary to emote our inner turmoil.?

Today, we?aren’t?just penning down words in the loving memory of Uzair. We intend to tell the world whom?we’ve?lost. The world deserves to know who Uzair Arshad?was,?and?what he meant to Emblem and those associated with him. The world must?know?the void he has left behind, not just in our lives but also in the Tech sector of Pakistan.???

Uzair?was the founder of?Emblem Technologies, a place where ideas?are brought?to life,?where?visions?are transformed?into a marvelous reality,?where?careers?are made, and most importantly,?a place where?friendships?are built?along with games and products.??

Uzair’s?journey in the world of technology started about two decades ago when he graduated from FAST University in Lahore. From a very young age, he had been a tech enthusiast. He began his journey as a Game Developer, and soon?in?2010, he bootstrapped his game studio.?He then ventured into building FinTech, EdTech, Social Apps,?and?eCommerce apps?along with?games.?He loved games,?which is why?a quick glimpse at his portfolio would tell you how much effort he put into building games from the very start of his career.??

Be it?“Tarneeb Masters”,?the most played game in the Middle East, or?“Zombie Rises”,?Uzair poured his heart and soul into these projects, unleashing his creative and technical?side,?and ensuring a successful product for his clients. In 2019, he launched?BBM?(Best Buy Mall), an online shopping mall where customers could buy groceries and everyday necessities. Its humble beginnings started in his hometown?Bahawalpur?and?later made waves in Lahore, where BBM gained high profits during COVID.??

When we shed light on?Uzair’s?brief but marvelous career, it?never fails to amaze?us how much he achieved in such a short time.?He treated Emblem like a child, and just?like a father would, he toiled diligently for it.?He worked hard and?nurtured it, and it was due to his consistent efforts that the company not only expanded but also successfully delivered 200+ tech products and games in a very short period.??

He was a true patriot. In his?resolute?dedication to?Pakistan's?tech industry, Uzair was?truly?committed to boosting?Pakistan's?tech scene. He dreamed of a future where new ideas thrived?and?Pakistan became a leader in technology worldwide. We aim to take his dreams forward, carrying his values with the same compassion and determination.??

At Emblem Technologies, many of us have been fortunate to witness Uzair in?many roles other than that of?a boss.?It was inspiring to see?him do so much at such a young age and selflessly pour his infectious energy into everything he did.?He never cared about profits. What mattered to him was delivering a great product by fully collaborating with his teammates.??

Uzair?not only?left a lasting impact on our lives?but also?taught us that?life should be led?with immense compassion and kindness.?True to his name, which translates to?“Helper”?or?“Strength,”?he was always the first to offer help.?In the most crucial moments of a project, he?was the one to show?the utmost strength and optimism that led Emblem Technologies all these years.?No?wonder,?everybody who knew him, even if it was for a fleeting moment, has only good things to say about him. As the founder of Emblem Technologies, he always display sheer generosity and consideration towards his employees. It?wouldn’t?be wrong to say that his persona was opposite to that of a demanding corporate boss.?He’d?make you feel at home, always particular about the comfort of his employees, and prioritizing their ease and entertainment at every instant. ?

Today, we remember Uzair for his empathetic nature,?his?courage to take risks in business, and?of?course, his?profound love for Games and Tech.?We remember him for his dedication to his profession.????

With a heavy heart, we must accept the reality that he?isn’t?with us anymore, but we will?always remember?him walking through the doors of Emblem, carrying his boisterous?aura,?and the warm smile that always reached his eyes. We’ll never forget his exuberant presence that infused daily meetings with a crackling spark.?We’d?always remember him calling us his?“family.”???

This office?won’t?ever?hear him saying,?“Hey guys,?what’s?up?”?again.??

The office boys here?won’t?be?called,?“Beta”?(son) again.??

Daily stand-ups and meetings will?go on?without his signature,?“And?that’s?that.”??

No one else would show their disappointment by saying,?“Seriously?”??

He?won’t?be here to give us penalties for wearing red. He?won’t?be there to share our food and give us his lunch anymore. Yes, there?won’t?be anyone walking through the main door holding his cold coffee early in the morning, even though?he’d?claim,?“I’m?on a diet, I?won’t?have any of it again.”??

There’d always be so much to miss about Uzair and his big heart that only knew to?“give”?endlessly without any demands or complaints. Yes, he?isn’t?with us anymore,?but?we are fortunate that his memories are. His words and?his?work remain with us like a stark reminder of what dedication, determination, and strength?will?look like. He has left us with valuable teachings, a?work ethic, and a motivation to continue working hard and carry on his legacy-?Emblem??
