STEPHANIE D. LEGG, HMC, UNITED STATES NAVY
Chief Hospital Corpsman Stephanie D. Legg was born in Milton, Florida. She is a graduate of Escambia County High School in Atmore, Alabama. She joined the Navy in February 1994 from Vallejo, California. After she completed basic training at Recruit Training Command, Orlando, Florida, she attended Dental Technician “A” School at Naval Station San Diego, California.
Active Duty Commands

- July 1999 – December 2000 Naval Base Branch Dental Clinic SupShip, Norfolk, VA
- December 2000- February 2004 3rd Dental Battalion Okinawa, Japan.
Navy Reserve Career
February 2004, Stephanie affiliated with the Naval Reserve. Later that same year, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF), she mobilized to Camp Arfijan in Kuwait with Fleet Hospital Dallas. October 2005 she accepted continued on orders to 2d Dental Battalion Camp LeJeune where she provided direct support to the 12th Dental Cherry Point for 2 years. October 2007 she again mobilized in support of OEF to Germany for a year working in the Patient Administration Division. June 2010, she mobilized again to Germany supporting Deployed Warrior Medical Management Center (DWMMC), Mission Office as the LPO. June 2011 she was extended for another year in Germany where she worked in the DWWMC, as the Assistant NCOIC of the Logistics Office, CAC/ID and Movement and Orders departments. September 2012 Stephanie was inducted into the Chief’s Mess. July 2013 she mobilized to Kandahar, Afghanistan serving in Clinical Social Services Department. Her decorations include the following; Army Commendation Medal, N/MC Achievement Medal (5), Army Achievement Medal, NUC, MUC, Navy “E” Ribbon, Good Conduct (3), Navy RSV Meritorious Service Medal (2), National Defense Service Medal (2), Afghanistan Campaign Medal, GWOT EXPED Medal, GWOT SVC Medal, NATO ISAF Medal, Sea SVC Deployment Ribbon (2), N/MC Overseas Service Ribbon (4), Armed Forces Reserve Medal W/M’ DVC (2), FLOC, Expert Pistol Shot Medal.
Stephanie is married to James Legg, HM1 (ret), she has one son Airman Austin Rodgers and two step-daughters Catherine and Elizabeth Legg. She has proudly served the Navy and this nation for over 21 years, rising in the ranks from E1 to E7. SEPMER FORTIS!
