Honoring Current Women
I want to thank all the strong women in my circle from my great grandma to my grandma whom both fought breast cancer and my mother who made me the person I am. I was diagnosed at the age of 14 with Myasthenia Gravis and everything a doctor or society said I could not do, I have done and broke the ceiling and stereotypes. I am thankful to God for my three son's and be able to have a full-time career. I am one of the best in recruiting consultant you would ever meet and because that, I want to highlight some strong women I know as the end of women's month come to an end. Here are some women that I would like to honor, that make a difference and change the world and the community we live in.
First, up my aunt Ilka V. Chavez who is Bilingual -(Spanish and English) public author and a Leadership, Executive, Life, Emotional Coach and who overcame cancer. Her impact is helping others be the leaders in our future world. She assists organizations and business with strategy development, value-based leadership, and elevating leaders to the next level, as well as One on one with leaders and group coaching and development services for emerging leader programs.
Ke'Andrea "Kiki" Ayers Founder and C.E.O of Ayers Publicity, LLC all odds were against her, but she overcame and surpassed all obstacles in her way as a mom of a beautiful son. Today she a top publicist for some of the best celebrities. To date, she focused on expanding a positive image for entertainers, creatives and businesses. Her clients have been featured in every major publication from The Shade Room, REVOLT TV and COMPLEX to FORBES, The Huffington Post and Ebony.
Brigette Hyacinth is a public Bestselling author, and an International Keynote Speaker on Leadership, Management, HR, Social Media Marketing & Influencing, Digital Transformation, and Artificial Intelligence. She is one of the most uplifting and positive person anyone can come across. She encourages and motivates others, selflessly because of her love for others to reach their better self and impact our current environment.
Jayme Karam is a Talent Acquisition Director, who is proactive out the box leader in achieving hiring targets, inspiring and cultivating the best team of managers and recruiters. She is a strategic leader who knows how to develop a team of strategic recruiters, who know how to execute and deliver the best-recruiting strategy and support rapid company growth.
Kia Fisher a survivor and great Therapist who is dedicated to help and assist women in building positive self-esteem, healing from past hurt, and empowering them to pursue their dreams. A speaker in promoting women empowerment workshops, seminars, and practical strategies that empower women.
Yadira Stamp, the best Chef, and Electrical Engineering in the catering business I know. For the last 33 years, she has been a technical design and analysis working for the private industry. She returned to school and earned a Culinary Degree at the Art Institute of Washington (AIW) in 2010. She also shadowed both the Executive Chef and Front-of-the-house Manager in hopes of acquiring additional skills to make her the best of the best. In 2016 and 2017, in celebration of 'Hispanic Heritage Month', she was called upon to cater events for the AARP Organization, for NBC4 News, and for the FDA, serving dishes from Panama and other Hispanic countries, as well as she, was featured in 'El Tiempo Latino' (Washington Post Spanish Newspaper) for her Latin cuisine. In 2017, Chef Yadira served as one of the Chefs for the 2017 Presidential Inauguration luncheon, as well as she participated in The Congressional Black Caucus 47th Annual Legislative Conference, where she demoed and served one of her native Panamanian dishes to 100 attendees.
Jhanilka Hartzog is a mental health counselor, and entrepreneur with over ten years of experience in various settings. She is a double threat in teaching how to self-care and financial responsibility with her husband. They have multi-business and paid off all of there debt before the age of 35.
Crystal Suber is s financial consultant who helps individuals and business improve their financial picture. Crystal uses her experience and education to further financial literacy in her community. Crystal serves on the finance and audit committees with the Richmond Gay Community Foundation. She has actively supported the foundation as well as its affiliates: the Richmond Business Alliance (RBA) and SAGE. Crystal is a member of the Greek, LGBTQIA non-profit organization, Alpha Psi Kappa, Inc. A member since 2005, Crystal has held national offices of secretary and treasurer. This organization donates thousands of hours of service each year.
