HONORED TO BE INVITED AND TO ATTEND THE 6TH INTERNATIONAL TALK ON GREEN BUSINESS, SUSTAINABILITY AND CLIMATE ORGANIZED BY THE GLOBAL AMBASSADORS OF SUSTAINABILITY!

My thanks and congratulations to Dr. Wesam Al Madhoun for inviting me to this new insightful conference of the Global Ambassadors of Sustainability and for successfuly organizing it, as well as to Dr. Emilie Nollet and to Professor Adel Ahmed for their excellent presentations!

As a pollution, climate change, global warming, circular economy, finance-risk-sustainability reporting green & blue finance expert and as a Global Ambassador of Sustainability myself it was indeed a privilege and a pleasure to join this international conference attended by around 500 participants allover the world.

I would like to reiterate here what I already mentioned in my intervention: WE NEED TO HAVE AN EMPHASIS on the actual URGENT IDENTIFICATION AND IMPLEMENTATION of SOLUTIONS, TOOLS, POLICY RECOMMENDATIONS for and by the world governments in order to successfully tackle the ENORMOUS CHALLENGES MANKIND IS CURRENTLY FACING.

Currently we need to tackle MULTIPLE PLANETARY CRISES generated by air-land-water pollution, climate changes, global warming, biodiversity loss, land degradation, seas & oceans level rising, oceans de-oxygenation and acidification, polar sheet and mountain glaciers melting, devastating extreme weather events like the recent terrible hurricanes that hit Florida, catastrophic rainfall in Spain, etc., that are disrupting socio-economic-health ecosystems and peoples lives..

This is a EMERGENCY CRISIS we are facing as Professor Adel stated!

We ALREADY KNOW THE CAUSES that lead to this MULTIPLE PLANETARY CRISES THREATENING THE PRESENT AND FUTURE OF OUR PLANET! There are already a plethora of reports and studies presenting the current realities. Almost every day we see reports published by reputable multilateral international organizations, institutions and think-tanks presenting detailed analysis of the multiple Environment related planetary crises. Every year there are organized COPs but the pace of achieving the SDGs targets and the Paris Agreement global warming target is dangerously very low!! At the same time we see VERY FEW REPORTS ON CONCRETE IMMEDIATE PROGRAMS & RELATED FUNDING THAT NEED TO BE URGENTLY IMPLEMENTED IN ORDER TO SUCCESSFULY COMBAT POLLUTION, CLIMATE CHANGE & GLOBAL WARMING!

THIS IS WHAT WE NEED NOW!

ACTION! ACTION! ACTION!

CONCRETE ACTIONS AND FUNDING TO IMMEDIATELY IMPLEMENT STRATEGIES, PROGRAMS, POLICY MEASURE TO TACKLE THE MULTIPLE AND LIFE THREATENING PLANETARY CRISES WE ALL CURRENTLY FACING!
