Why do you work for/with TFC??

I absolutely love volunteering my?time at TFC because?it contributes so much to the masses. I enjoy bragging about all of the dedicated staff and services that you all contribute to our?community. I am truly humbled to have had the opportunity to serve with you in a leadership role. I never expected to be a part of such an amazing and influential organization. The passion that you all share while doing your job is contagious. I also appreciate the teamwork that?has been displayed to?the point that it has created a family like atmosphere.??

What do you want people to know about who you are?

I try to strive to be a servant leader because that is how I was raised. My Mom taught us to?be respectful and to lend a helping hand whenever we can.? I am very selective about where I contribute my time and that is why I am proud to serve on the TFC Board. Representing female leadership is very scarce on a global level. I never used to admit that until a male colleague once said to me that?I?knew how to hold my own amongst the leadership groups I?chose to?spend my time with. I never pictured myself being from a small town to be a? leader and I am blessed to have had numerous opportunities despite my resistance to lead. It is with great admiration from those females that I have had the pleasure to have learned from that I can and will continue to get better at leading. I try to put my best forward and remind?people to be nice people,?make good choices and be present. Finally for the warrior in all of us, I want to leave you with something I often share when I am asked to speak to female groups:?Is there anything that she can’t handle, because we all know that she looks fear in the face day after day, but yet she never runs, she’s unbreakable she’s a warrior, She’s you!?

Who is one woman in history that really influenced you and why??

It is so hard to pick one but this morning I was reminded of this one (link below).
