Tell us a little about yourself:

I'm originally from Los Angeles and your newest Washington state local trying to find where the tennis courts are at. I'm also a self-certified chef.

Who has been the most influential woman leader in your career and why?

I’ve been inspired by many women in my life and the most influential female leader in my career is Ximena Salazar. I look up to her in so many ways. I’m very fortunate to have worked on her team for a few years and in that time, I learned firsthand from her dedication and confidence. She is determined to help everyone and constantly creates forward-thinking change in the workplace.

Are you an anime fan? What do you think about the growing popularity of anime in mainstream pop culture, especially with celebrities, athletes, and other entertainers?

Anime is special to me—my earliest and fondest memories with anime are me rushing home from school to watch Dragon Ball Z with my brothers. Anime is not only genre diverse, but the storylines are so unique that it is clear why its popularity is growing all the time amongst our family, friends and mainstream individuals. Its inclusivity pulls many viewers in, making them feel understood and related to.

As a woman in the anime industry, what opportunities do you see for other women?

The anime market size continues to grow regardless of what’s going on in the world and the opportunities available will only follow. This expands the possibilities to more and new professions as we are seeing more content groups and variety.?

What is one piece of advice that you would give to young women starting their career?

The most important piece of advice I would give young women starting their career is to be fearlessly yourself, remember that mistakes are an opportunity to learn and create experience. I also recommend finding a mentor early on to help you navigate through your career goals.

Congrats
