In honor of women everywhere

A Women's History Month message from our Founder & CEO

For so many years – and still so often today – women have fought to get ahead and to get equal. History has shown that we’ve had to claw, protest, fight, litigate, and – well, prove ourselves! – every step of the way. Our worth. Our being. Our intelligence. Our existence. Our value.?

As we?reflect on another International Women’s Day , I want to shine a light on the unique value that women bring to one another…?

Confidence.?

Perspective.?

Warmth.?

Support.?

Championship.?

I was Abu Dhabi last week for the Forbes 30/50 Summit, feeling the unique energy that happens when women come together to celebrate and elevate one another; when women lean into one another and lift each other up. And I’m lucky to feel that magic every day within Athena Alliance.?

I challenge women to continue to think about how they can support other women in their lives.?

I encourage all of us to move forward with an abundance mindset – there is “enough” out there, for all of us, if we stick together. And when there is enough, maybe – just maybe – our progress forward will be made a little easier. For all of us.?

"Both my grandmothers were from Ukraine. My father fought in WWII, and I was raised immersed in his constant descriptions of his fight for democracy in Europe...I decided I had to help these courageous people fight for their country and freedom.

Coco immediately had ideas for Athena members whom I could contact, tapping into my core belief that job creation would be of value today during wartime. She immediately introduced me to Athena members who enhanced my thinking with their experience in the region, both in business and diplomacy. This is quite a testimony to the global reach and diversity of Athena membership.?

Today, I’m proud to be the Board Advisor to Nova Ukraine.?
