Hone Your Teamwork in Problem Solving

Great teamwork is a critical factor in deciding the success of complex problem solving.?Beyond technical competency, an open & supportive working relationship is always a desirable working environment that drive and cultivate high performance.?A great teamwork goes from senior leader who promote cross-functional collaboration, engineers unselfishly support each others, to technicians and operators who are excited to play their parts too.

A great team is built upon a strong foundation of trust.?Trust can’t not built overnight.?It is built over a period of time which one see and feel the extra effort and supports his teammate renders under difficult situation.?To build everlasting trust, the following 5 mindsets makes great formula to succeed. ?

  1. Collaborative mindset: A collaborative mindset means valuing teamwork and recognising that everyone has something valuable to contribute. When team members adopt a collaborative mindset, they are more willing to listen to others' perspectives, share their own ideas, and work together to achieve a common goal.
  2. Growth mindset: A growth mindset believes that abilities and skills can be developed through effort and hard work. When team members adopt a growth mindset, they are more willing to take on challenges, learn from mistakes, and improve their skills over time. This can lead to a more positive and productive team dynamic.
  3. Open-minded mindset: An open-minded mindset means being receptive to new ideas and perspectives. When team members adopt an open-minded mindset, they are more willing to consider different approaches and solutions to problems. This can lead to more creative and innovative problem-solving.
  4. Solution-focused mindset: A solution-focused mindset focuses on finding solutions rather than dwelling on problems. When team members adopt a solution-focused mindset, they are more likely to stay motivated and focused on the end goal, even when faced with obstacles.
  5. Trusting mindset: A trusting mindset means having confidence in your team members' abilities and intentions. When team members adopt a trusting mindset, they are more likely to communicate openly, delegate tasks effectively, and collaborate without fear of judgment or criticism. This can lead to a more positive and supportive team environment.
