Honda Debuts Honda 0 EV Series

Honda announced its plans to launch Honda 0, a new global electric vehicle (EV) series, in 2026 during CES 2024. The company also showcased two concept models from the series, the Space-Hub and Saloon.?

Honda described the Saloon as the Honda 0 Series flagship concept model. The electric vehicle’s features include Honda’s “man maximum/machine minimum” packaging concept, an instrument panel with a human-machine interface, and steer-by-wire and motion control management systems.?The Saloon also integrates sustainable materials in its low, wide exterior and spacious interior.

According to Honda, the Space Hub’s flexible space serves as a “hub” that facilitates connections between passengers and their external environment.

Both models will sport Honda’s new H mark logo specifically created for the upcoming generation of EV models.?

Honda’s new series will feature an advanced driver-assistive system (ADAS). The company also expects to equip Honda 0 models with next-generation automated driving features in the second half of the 2020s, including AI, recognition, sensing, driver monitoring, and risk prediction.

Honda added that the new series batteries will offer fast charging, achieving a 15% to 80% charge in 10 to 15 minutes. The company aims to limit battery capacity degradation to less than 10% over a decade of use.
