Bathing in flower infused water benefits your body & mind simultaneously in such a pleasing way. It is a luxurious treat to relax & beautify your skin in the comfort of your own home.
I came up with a lovely mix of flowers that helped me to fully unwind whilst leaving my skin gorgeously fresh & well, smelling of flowers...
I am going to share the flower selection & their benefit so you can go ahead & try it as soon as you get a chance with the confidence that you will indulge & revitalise your skin & give your mind a mindful break from the temporary & wicked chaos of this mad world.
You can use fresh flowers or dried ones. I used a mixture of both. Some of them may be easily available in your garden or in your neighbour's.
Ingredients:
Calendula flowers (Calendula officinalis) - Hydrating & nourishing to dry skin, great to soothe eczema. Slows down the development of wrinkles & speeds up tissue healing after injuries.
Rose (Rosacea) - Beautifying, aromatic, rich in vitamin C, promotes healthy looking skin.

Lavender (Lavandula Officinalis) - relaxing & calming for the mind. Helpful for insomnia.
You can put all the ingredients loose in the bath or wrap them in a muslin cloth & let it drop. This depends on how neat you like things to be & if you wish to prevent flowers clogging your plughole afterwards.
You can go ahead & be as experimental & creative as you like & mix different flowers or herbs according to your taste and/or knowledge.
Please ensure the water is not too hot as this will be counterproductive to the properties of the flowers & highly unpleasant for your skin & mind. Also, this could lower your blood pressure & make you feel dizzy.
This is how I did my spa:
