‘When I became homeless, I contacted Homeless Entrepreneur thanks to research my sister did via Google in Venezuela. After the first contact through their Helpline, the foundation reviewed my case and shared helpful resources. They also helped spread awareness of my situation on social networks via the Voices program.’

‘After my case was reviewed, I was accepted into the HELP program. It's a roadmap for skill acquisition, autonomy development, and labour integration. During the program, I had the support of emotional and professional development, communication, and other coaches.’

‘I participated in OpenExpo with Juan Miguel Callejas (at that time, an IBM team member). There, I had the opportunity to present my case, explain how Homeless Entrepreneur is empowering me, and introduce the programs like IBM SkillsBuild offered by the foundation to support people in a similar situation.’

‘Thanks to Carmen Pino (AWS Architect), I was able to join the AWS re/Start program offered by Fundación Altius and Amazon. I have taken the opportunity to participate as a volunteer, supporting other students in the course and collaborating with them in a solidary market.’

‘Fundación Altius helped me solve my housing problem by providing a space in a flat of the foundation. At the moment, I am seeking a job aligned with my training and experience with the help of the professional development coach and Chief Impact Officer Juan Miguel Callejas.’

‘Ambar Soluciones' contribution, both financial and emotional, is really important and inspirational.’
