Home is where love resides …. Memories are created ….
The ache for home lives in all of us. ...
It is easy to take home for granted, isn’t it?
The word “home” refers to more than just the house you live in. Home is the people you love, the place where you’re comfortable, and the place you belong above all others. The feelings we associate with home are what makes it such a nice word.
We get home from work, or school, often tired. We are crabby, overwhelmed. Sometimes I come home and the first thought that crosses my mind is: “oh my, I have so much cleaning to do, look at this mess, oh, the dishes, and the laundry”, and so on. Yeah, life will always get a little dirty.
We will never be able to get it all done. We may today, yes, but more will come. Dirt will come through the door, dust will accumulate, and clothes will need washing. The best we can do is set priorities, and some days our priority will be cleaning, and some days it will be REST. This balance is necessary, and healthy. It took me a long time to get here, to understand that I won’t get it all done, ever.
Nowadays I expect to have more on my to do list than I can accomplish, and that does not bother me. When it comes to life at home and housework, I feel okay with not crossing every item. I learned to find my own sweet spot – that spot in between feeling accomplished, and feeling present to my home and family.
This past weekend I left my to do list behind… My body called for rest, my arm was sore, I was achy. I watched a ton of “Grace & Frankie”, ate easy prep meals, ice cream, and enjoyed being home, creating memories, feeling the love, and laughing much.

Thank you …. What is home?
If one looks in a dictionary the answer would come out to be, “The place where one lives permanently, especially as a member of a family or household.” However, for anyone who has had an actual home, they would know that such a term goes much beyond its concrete description.
It is an impassioned aspect filled with values and foundation of nurturing. A home is not just an abode built to live in; in fact, that is just a definition of a house.
Home is a place where one not only feels comfortable, but a place they look forward to opportunely live in every day.
Home is built not by bricks or wood, but with the bond of family.

Family is what makes a house a home; this statement is undeniably precise. A person could have every material entity in the entire world, but it would mean nothing if he does not have someone to share it with. In other words, home is also semantically related to sharing the happiness, grief, and material things with one’s family.
Do you want to add a word or two?....
A home gives people a place to care about the people that mean the most to them.
It is a place to tell amusing tales, a good story, or make memorable memories with one another.
Furthermore, home is more than a place; it is a feeling. It is a feeling of contentment and happiness that they share with the ones they love.
Moreover, home is when one knows they are with people that can drive them insane in a second, and the same people can make them happy in a second as well.
Home means that no matter what one is going through, no matter how challenging life gets, there will be someone looking out for them.

One knows that a place is their home when they are comfortable enough to present a true description of themselves, because they know that they will receive definitive acceptance.
It is a sanctuary for them where they can do anything they please and not be judged afterwards.
It is where one can share the absurdity of their day without any remorse or repercussions.
The reason why people say that a person only has one true home is because that’s where their heart is.
What are the best and worst things about living away from home?
Living far away from home, even for a short period, can be fascinating, exciting and unforgettable, but at the same time it has vary effects on our life especially international students.
One of the positive effects is teaching us the precious lesson of grow up as a person. Whenever you step out of your home and approach to a new country, that means you have to say good bye the comfortable life and get into a life full of duties.
You have to learn how to do things by yourselves, start worrying about every phase of our life, from vast parts to smaller tasks such as balancing my check book for not to be in the red.
I have never done this in my country before. I got a fever, threw out all the time. I couldn’t eat and couldn’t sleep well because I felt hot inside and I didn’t know how to decrease it. I sweated all the time. I had to take medicines every 4 hours. At that time, I stayed alone in India.
But I was so lucky that my neighbor was so nice. She is studying about nursing. She gave me good medicines and sometime she cooked onion soup for me.
She said onion was a good herb for reduce the heat from your body. I was very thankful to her helping. I couldn’t imagine that if she didn’t help me, what would happen to me, so I realize from this experience that you have to take care of yourself as well as you can. No one can look after you all the time like you stay at your home.
The ache for home lives in all of us, the place where we can go as we are and not be questioned.
