Home is Where the Headshot Parties Are

Hello from my hometown of Richmond, VA! It's a wonderfully hectic time for me, as a flew home to do two headshot parties and some private sessions with clients as well.

It's always so special to me when clients trust me enough with their brand to capture its essence in photographs. Here's a sample of what I've been doing so far on this action-packed trip to Richmond:

I got to photograph Agriberry Farm and CSA in Hanover County.

I was one of the original CSA members so it was extra meaningful for me to come to their farm and photograph them.

The whole family is very passionate about bringing beautiful, nutritious fruit to our community.

They even have black raspberries which is a rare and highly nutritious berry.

Agriberry is the only fruit CSA in the country! Wow.

We had a SOLD OUT Headshot Party at Gather Short Pump. It was so much fun to see new and previous clients. I always love working with the amazing Rita Ricks!!! So much fun doing what I love to do!

I did a Social Branding session w the beautiful and very photogenic Samantha. Her husband used to work at Bon Secours too and had noticed my work over the years. Samatha opened her own spa in Charleston, SC and needs images for her website, social media and marketing. So they decided to fly up and book a session. Lucky me!!!!!

We had a BLAST working with long-time client, Care Advantage! We created some traditional headshots as well as fun shots for their marketing. It was magical! Hair/Makeup by Kelsea Dayberry Wardrobe styling by: Emmaline Chappel

We did a Personal Branding Session with Joli Aslan Venture X. Joli needs images for her marketing and her website. I was thrilled to work with Megan Wilson of @sweettalkstrategy and BJohn Beauty LLC

That's a wrap on my first week back in Richmond VA - there's another SOLD OUT Headshot Party scheduled for this week as well as more private sessions, which I'll be sharing with you soon!

In other news...

• My blogging focus this week was on Zoom and how to look better during these meetings that we all seem to spend a good part of our professional lives on. I will put that link for you in the first comment below.
