For future homebuyers, especially those who were searching for a home when the COVID-19 pandemic started, being able to explore potential homes has drastically changed. As social distancing has increased across the country, and with an unknown time frame of how long this isolation will actually last, many open houses and meetings with agents and sellers have been canceled. However, just because you can’t see homes in person, doesn’t mean your search needs to end.

As a Realtor, I have had to adjust and adapt during this pandemic. Utilizing social media and today’s technology net meetings has given me the opportunity to serve my clients. Taking all of the protective measures for my clients as well as myself, I work with my clients to make sure they’re comfortable utilizing all of the nationwide guidelines of social spacing and sanitizing everything. I send them listings that meet their criteria directly to their email. When they find a property or properties they’re interested in we start with the virtual tour then go forward to view the property.
Technology has given us so many ways to do business. Title companies make it convenient and safe to transfer funds and close the transactions remotely.
