The most ever recorded home sales in August were noted last month for the KW region. 686 residential homes were sold through the Multiple Listing System, where the ten year average number of residential sales for August is 470. The Waterloo Region housing market has remained hot all summer, seeing the average sale price of all residential properties sold in August increase by 21% to $634,409 compared to the same month last year. The number of Months Supply, known as the absorption rate, continues to be very low at just one month for the month of August.
