It is estimated that 79 million people will be enrolled in Medicare by 2030[1]. This advancement will stem an urgent need for more and more home healthcare providers to tend to this growing population. Among them, the need for registered nurses will be on the rise and most important followed by physical therapists for patients ages 65 plus[2]. With all these new scientific developments and advancements in healthcare, our lifespans are surpassing previous generations. Our children are fortunate to live in a time where they can enjoy the company of their vibrant and active grandparents, great grandparents and even great-great grandparents.

In these fast-paced times, people are working longer hours and leading busier lives. In addition to work life, families are trying to balance relationships with each other, their children, their social lives and extended families. And in many cases, both heads of households are required to work more than one job to make ends meet. And it is a wide spread concern for many individuals who also have their own ageing parents to help care for. Since Medicare covers many home health services, families can seek out this new alternate avenue of support; therefore, decreasing the emotional and mental strain on the entire family.

Resource 1 Homecare Staffing understands these everyday pressures and has a large qualified network of certified occupational therapists, physical therapists, registered nurses, speech language pathologists, licensed medical social works, vocational nurses and more. Providing in-home care service allows this generation of individuals a way to maintain their independence and receive convenient stress-free care.

Resource 1 Homecare Staffing has developed unique partnerships with home health providers, hospitals and health systems across the nation to provide assistance to this unique population in their own homes. Families can sigh a breath of relief knowing that their loved ones will be cared for and attended by professionally screened and 100% reliable staff. While homecare providers are doing their best to keep up with the demand of in-home patient care, they can rest assured knowing that as their provider, Resource 1 Homecare Staffing goes above and beyond to match each staff member with its client requirements and offers pure transparency throughout the entire process.

CMS could do its part by cutting back on the documentation, which cuts into personal life:most therapists see this as a major drawback as opposed to working in a hospital or a clinic.
