Home Depot Volunteers Transform Salvation Army Veterans & Family Center with Landscaping Grant

On Tuesday, June 25th, Major Jonathan Harvey, Cascade Divisional Commander, and Major Rhonda Lloyd, Executive Director of the Veterans and Family Center, presented Home Depot Store 4001 with an honorary plaque for their $5,000 donation through The Home Depot Foundation to landscape The Veterans and Family Center in Beaverton, OR.

As part of their partnership, a dedicated volunteer group from Home Depot, Team Depot, graciously volunteered to help with the landscaping overhaul. This is in addition to Home Depot's generous $300,000 grant for the remodeling of The Salvation Army Veterans & Family Center, which has enabled updates to the interiors, additional ADA-compliant bathrooms, family suites, and much more.

Special congratulations to Major Rhonda Lloyd for her exemplary leadership in fostering this valuable partnership.
