HOMAGE AND HISTORY

I woke up today to the memorial coverage of the D-day invasion. It was a reflection on the honor and sacrifice of the men and women from all walks of life who stepped into a future of uncertainty based on a mission that at then time would change the course of our current lives. The generations that were allowed to follow freely in thought and practice owe that generation a debt of gratitude. The freedoms they fought and died for created the pathways that allow me to thank them on behalf of my family. The technology that I use today to share my thoughts had their birth in that era. In a time when many peoples view of history is a 5 month news cycle, we should teach the lessons of history and not let them be relegated to a delete button. To those who sacrificed then and in events since I humbly say.......thank you.....
