On March 21st, representatives from the Hudson Valley Renegades and Heritage Financial Credit Union celebrated the revitalization of the Dutchess Stadium Improvement project. Tyson Jeffers, General Manager of the Renegades, unveiled the updated park along with a new name – Heritage Financial Park, in addition to acknowledging Holt Construction’s role in the large undertaking.

During the off season, Holt completed renovations and upgrades to the majority of the stadium including the home run wall, batting cages, club house, batters’ eye wall and electrical work throughout. The stadium’s walls were raised, including the home run wall, to eight feet, while the advertising wall was raised to sixteen feet. Additionally, the home run wall was modified from its original plywood state to a new padded wall with a chain link fence. The batting cages were then enclosed in a new structure and extended, while the clubhouse was modified into one building. The renovations to the clubhouse require major retrofitting to the existing HVAC and upgrades to the heating and cooling outputs.?

For the second year, Holt's Hudson Valley team held a local blood drive to support the New York Blood Center. Together with local trade partners, associations and clients, the blood drive successfully collected 53 donations. Once the whole blood is divided into its 3 components (red cells, platelets, plasma) these donations will help save the lives of 151 area hospital patients.

These efforts are part of our commitment to stay connected to the communities in which we build.
