It is arguable that Hitler, the National Socialists, and FDR, the Democrats, with their New Deal, which in many ways mirrored the National Socialists' initiatives in Germany such as the autobahn, brought about temporary improvements to their economies. If Hitler had died, let's say in 1938, history would have viewed him very differently.
Both Germany and America found temporary success because both leaders inherited strong industrial bases, allowing them to further expand their resources.
The analogy between Picasso's prints, which I have used before, and the stock market draws parallels to the consequences of the lack of oversight in the stock market during the Great Depression of the 1930s. The paper "edition" stock, similar to a dollar-based economy, relied more on speculative betting than the true value of production, ultimately leading to a crash.
The high value of Picasso's original prints is based on faith. The collective agreement of a certain number of people determines the worth of a print, and the scarcity of editions increases their value. If people suddenly lose faith in the value of these prints or dollars, their worth diminishes. This is similar to a stock, essentially a piece of paper, having its value determined by faith, much like the worth of a speculative dollar.
In response to these economic challenges, the government might resort to printing more dollars, making them less scarce and thereby reducing their value. This action occurred during the Weimar Republic's free market approach, resulting in hyperinflation and a loss of faith in the economy.
These events prompted some to consider and see the temporary successes of a centrally planned economy with the direct oversight of industry by the National Socialists in the late 30s vs. the uncertainties of a free market economy in the 20s as the better option.

6 个月I enjoy reading your posts. Some may assert that the “Palestine” flag is just a future echo of the Nazi flag. Essentially, both represent the ideology that promotes the desire to annihilate the Jews. Some are actually calling the Jews themselves “Nazis”. The Left love to flip the script and point fingers. But one finger pointed out means three fingers pointed in, so everything they accuse their “enemy” of doing, they are most certainly guilty of doing, or believing in, themselves. And since the youth are incredibly impressionable and are easily scared into being ostracized for holding differing opinions, college students are the perfect group to take advantage of financially (or their parents), and psychologically, which they are essentially being brainwashed. The Left don’t hate Hitler because he was complicit in the extermination of Jews. The Left hate Hitler because he’s White. And now, 80-something years later, the Jews are the targets again. The Left claim to hate fascists and racists, but that is exactly what they are.
