After today's audio room, I decided to share what’s worked for me every month when it comes to optimizing physical health, emotional wellbeing, relationships, creativity and sense of meaning. While “wellness” may seem vague or overwhelming, it’s built through simple daily practices that reshape your lifestyle over time.
For example, I start each morning by drinking warm lime water and meditating. This helps stimulate my digestion and set an intention to be present. When I’m stressed, taking strategic breathing breaks activates my parasympathetic nervous system to induce calm. Going for a rejuvenating walk mid-day opens my creative flow and energizes my body. Spending 10 minutes journaling each evening helps me process emotions and focusing on gratitude in the morning really helps me with the rest of my day.
Small steps repeated consistently can yield big results. But where do we even begin to integrate wellness practices into our busy, demand-filled days? How do we turn good intentions into lasting habits? I’ll share what’s worked for me when it comes to realistically reshaping my lifestyle in positive ways.
Above all, know that you don't have to overhaul everything at once. Start with micro-steps aligned with your needs and interests. Over time, these small seeds will compound into a deeply nourishing lifestyle that honors your whole being.
In our time together, I’ll also get vulnerable about the ups and downs on my own wellness journey. You’ll see I’m right there with you, navigating the challenges of elevating my wellbeing each day. We’re all beautifully imperfect works in progress! But with inspiration, community and daily practice, growth is undoubtedly within our reach.
