Holistic personal REbranding. What it is, when you need it & its benefits

As more and more people decide to work with us on their true selves and aligned business, I decided to write an article about holistic personal rebranding today. It could be that not everybody is aware of the incredible potential and power behind it. Let's change that!

As always, I decided to break down all terms I use into small chunks and gift you with concrete examples, as well as a handful of deep questions. Which will hopefully inspire you to look at places you might have avoided before. Enjoy and fingers crossed.

Holistic personal Rebranding. What it is

We have three words within this term, that might not be 100% clear to every reader, which is totally fine. Let’s start with holistic.

Holistic: means looking at the whole, not just a part. The bigger picture or analyzing certain aspect from various angles.

For my work with my clients this means, we - amongst others - explore the following areas:

  • their working habits/work day
  • the way they make decisions
  • their content creation process
  • the way they take breaks, have “fun” & rest
  • their meditation & mindfulness practice
  • how they deal with their emotions, especially frustration & anger
  • their inner dialogue/relationship to their “inner team”
  • their connection to nature and the Universe
  • their beliefs about money, clients/relationships, social media & bizz

Personal Branding: I’ve written about this topic in the past. If you are new to it, you will likely enjoy this article.

The “personal” in personal branding means, that we focus on a human being. Not a product, service, or a company.

(Personal) REbranding: describes the process of re-shaping the identity and values of a brand. E.g. the name, logo, design, the symbols, and colors they use. Again, in our case a human being. Why would someone do that?

Because they “have outgrown themselves” resp. the character they portray. Or because they want to be seen in a fresh or more aligned light. Or create a different perception. Also an option: They went through a radical transformation. Maybe they weren’t 100% honest resp. clear then they started out. And created a shiny, “fake” but desirable online persona. One that would likely lead to immense commercial success and high visibility.

As you can see THE reason doesn't exist. There even could be multiple motivations to rebrand and change. No judgment, blame or shame here. :-)

When you need it

With the last paragraph, I’ve already mentioned a few situations when or why individuals choose to go through a rebranding process. Here are a few more concrete examples from my friends and clients:

  • their business and social media reality is full of heaviness
  • their work doesn’t excite them anymore
  • they feel uncreative, exhausted and/or uninspired
  • a part of them either wants to “burn everything down” or “just run away”
  • when they look at their LinkedIn profile or latest speech, they roll their eyes
  • they feel trapped, like in a self-created golden cage
  • they don’t feel authentic anymore, burdened by the masks they wear
  • they know something needs to change. But what?
  • they’re afraid to fully be themselves in bizz and/or on social media
  • getting the “right” clients becomes more and more difficult

I can relate. Been there and I’ve experienced the same. The good news is it doesn’t have to be this way.

The benefits. Or: what you can expect

Based on my own experience, and what my clients have been through, this is how the holistic personal re-branding process has positively expressed itself in our lives:

  • more energy, ease, fun, connection, and joy in our daily (work) life
  • a new, healthier mindset regarding ourselves, social media & bizz
  • an authentic repositioning based on our true self
  • a more holistic understanding of funnels, digital marketing & scaling
  • unlimited access to inspiration and creative ideas
  • effortlessly attracting the “right” customers
  • clarity: who is our REAL target group and what do they want
  • "the eternal search" is replaced with a deep knowing: I'm on the right track
  • being able to have mature, internal dialogues with our “inner team”
  • 1000+ Aha-experiences and numerous "magic moments"

What a wonderful, deep transformation, isn’t it?

Getting started. My questions for you

Take your notebook or a piece of paper, and a pen, and write down the answers to the following questions. Take your time. This is not a test or competition. But a gift for yourself. “Happy contemplating"!

  1. Which daily business-related actions you take aren’t aligned anymore? You do them out of habit and deep inside know they don’t serve you anymore.
  2. What's that one thing you wanted to implement (that will make your life smoother) "since forever"? But for some reason you procrastinate it…
  3. What story do you tell yourself, that prevents you from making the change your soul is yearning for? But your ego is afraid of.
  4. Do you believe that joy and ease are your birthright? Or that this is something “hedonistic”, “weak” or “bad” you "should" avoid at all costs?
  5. Are you comfortable with feeling the uncomfortable? If no, is it simply a skill you’ve never learned? Or do you judge certain emotions as “bad” and think they “should” be avoided?

Thank you for your trust, attention, and time. I hope that this piece of content “opened at least one door” in your head and invited you to take aligned action.

Oh, and if you’d appreciate more personalized guidance, you know where to find me. Just send me a DM. :-)

Personal branding is . The right time? When growth calls. Reasons? Growth, authenticity, success. Time to shine.

Personal rebranding isn't just about changing how others see you; it's about stepping into the version of yourself that can dominate in your chosen field. The right time to rebrand is when there's a disconnect between your current image and where you see the biggest opportunity. From a financial perspective, think of personal rebranding as a strategic investment in your most valuable asset—yourself. Just like diversifying an investment portfolio to manage risk and increase potential returns, diversifying your skills and adapting your brand can open new doors and create more opportunities for revenue.
