Holisteec research project Final meeting

Holisteec Final meeting took place at CSTB in Paris last week after four years of hard work. Many thanks to the European FP7 programme for funding this huge research project and to the 19 partners for the great work done (especially Rina Consulting for the management of the whole project). A new way of managing construction design process (energy, acoustic, lighting, environmental...) is ongoing, based on open BIM and NIM protocols.

Examples of fruitful collaborations started in the project include the two software packages AcoubatBIM by CYPE and CYPETHERM COMETH developed by two partners of the project, CSTB and CYPE. We are proud to have brought to the market such advanced tools, connected to BIM in a real smart workflow. On a single geometric model, you can handle acoustic, thermal and more calculation. For those who want to discover them, the launch day is the 5th of October in Paris (few seats are still left).
