Holiday Wish List...
I have entered the holiday season, so I decided to put together the wish list for those of us that work in real estate. Here goes...
I wish that the rates trend down, allowing more buyers to enter the market and buy their dream homes.
Next, I wish that the economy improves for all of us, inflation comes down, jobs staying strong, and the lenders keep lending.
I wish that more agents / lenders and inspectors would work together to help the client, instead of blaming each other and making the process harder than it needs to be.
Here is a wish for the election season and the politicians to not hinder the economy, especially housing.
I wish for affordable housing options to be developed... a lot of people are talking about them, but it is time to make them happen for more people.

I wish that sellers who have been waiting due to rates or the low inventory, are now able to sell their home and buy the next one. This wish really means I wish for inventory to improve, without the crazy market with homes selling way above asking coming back.
The American dream has always been home ownership... so I wish this for all the families out there who dream of their first home in 2024.
I wish that the agents who refer business to me have great years and that I am able to help them and their clients.
For those who have left the industry, I wish them the best in their next careers. Their choice is not a failure, it is a choice made for the good of their families, so let's support them and wish them well.
For the rest of us, I wish for a more normal year and a shift to a healthier market, friendly to both buyers and sellers. We stayed, now we just need to keep doing our thing.
