A Holiday, Sort of… but Crowdfunding Never Sleeps!
I’ll admit it—I'm technically on holiday, soaking up the history and sun of places like Rome, Split, Dubrovnik, Corfu, Santorini, and, today, Ephesus. But don’t be fooled—while my steps are exceeding 10,000 every day, I’ve still got one eye on The Crowdfunding Hub. You know me, I can’t entirely switch off! ??
I must give a huge thank you to my incredible team, who have truly stepped up. They’re leading meetings, handling the day-to-day, and generally making sure I don’t feel too guilty while sipping an espresso in the shadow of the Colosseum or exploring the ruins of Ephesus.
Visiting these incredible places has given me time to reflect on how history and crowdfunding aren’t all that different (bear with me, there’s a point here). Take Ephesus—once a bustling hub of commerce and culture, it's a reminder of how collaboration and shared vision can create something that stands the test of time. Much like a successful crowdfunding campaign, it’s about building something together with a community, driven by collective belief.
And then there’s Rome—talk about the importance of foundations! Just like the Romans laid the groundwork for innovation that’s still influencing us today, a well-structured campaign with clear goals and strong storytelling is crucial to long-term success.
So while I’m enjoying the sun (and possibly eating my bodyweight in gelato), I’m also incredibly grateful for my team and all of you, the community that keeps The Crowdfunding Hub thriving. I’ll be back in full force soon—just a little more freckled and full of ideas inspired by centuries of history and collaboration.
Cheers (from somewhere between ancient ruins and a Wi-Fi spot),

4 个月Love to see you and wife enjoying yourselves and me and the family will be in Rome for 7 days starting November 4th, 2024. I’m really trying to start a crowdfunding campaign to raise $650,000 for a 12 episode season of a New Age comedy show never ever done before. This will have ( Netflix, Hulu, Max’s, Starz & Others ) bidding on the rights to stream. Would maneuver minimum 2 additional seasons @ 18 episodes each for 50 total episodes.
