Holiday Shopping

We are about to go into a mode that occurs almost every year. Also we are almost done 2024 since there are only two months left in the year. But I will just talk a bit about shopping since I am in retail and it is an activity that most customers perform every year. So I am going to write this as fast as possible despite my sore throat and feeling a bit weak physically. Holiday shopping is just around the corner since most customers will be shopping early for gifts and maybe trying to get the best deals possible.

Usually with this activity most of us wait until December to shop while there are others who like to shop early while there is still time before most of the stores close in December. Malls and shopping center remain closed while most gas stations remain open since there are most executives that want to make every cent they can muster even though they have enough of it. Of course malls and shopping centers remain packed and full making it harder for other customers that want to shop and to get the gifts they want for their loved ones.

Finally I will end this post by saying that the price of most goods and services sometimes drop due to sales and their goal of getting the most customers into their stores. I think that I written about the advantages of this while ignoring the disadvantages and I will just list the ladder right now. The disadvantages would be that most of us have to work during the Christmas season since most companies don't allow their staff members to take any time off which isn't a very good idea because all of us at some point have to eventually rest and relax. There's more to life than just work.
