I bet that in spite of covid many have travel plans! So unlike me, I do NOT. For those who do, you need to position yourself for wellness. Any ill-health now would make folks around you suspect it is the pestilent C - COVID.
Rumour has it that some went for halloween parry, dem carry covid. Others went for thanksgiving parry, dem carry covid. Christmas is fast approaching and other celebrations as well. The fear of covid may have waned but death has not...
Hence, it is best to avoid and prevent ill-health. Here are the tips I have used.
1. PRAY! You cannot pray enough. In addition to praying, use your anointing oil, rosary, Holy water ?? whatever you believe in. Be sure you do not make it a ritual. God is not in things, He is in YOU. That is assuming you know Him and have Him.
2. Sanitise, wash and spray. Yes sanitise whatever needs to be sanitised. There is a woman where I serve, she sanitises everything. The board should tell her to buy her own sanitising napkins! Well, soon I began to sanitise my shoes too! Talk about the sanitiser infection. Please wash your hands often and use quality hand sanitiser regularly. Biko nnu.
3. Wear a mask to keep your nose and mouth covered especially in public. Do not use any kuekue mask o. Contact me on how to buy quality ones in Nigeria (IRS wahala no gree me sell for obodo). You may call it pricey or affordable but I call it lifesaving!
4. We heard a lot about 6 feet, ese mefa, in context of the grave but human to human is now 6 feet! Jesu s’aanu! In line with this just avoid crowds and avoid enclosures you cannot verify. I cut off cabs entirely because I never can tell who has been in and if well sanitised.
5. Finally, all ye touchy feelers, quit touchery! Avoid touching eyes, nose, mouth of you or yours, except you got the visa to their whole body, a la have full ownership.
Stay safe, secure and sane. Remember! I care.
