Holdrege, Nebraska = WOW!
One of the things I enjoy most about photography is packing my cameras and hitting the road to visit new places.
Although I've been through Holdrege before, I never had the opportunity to stop, visit the town, and create some photographs of the area, so I was lucky to have a few days here with the incomparable, Kurt Johnson .
These are the things I found (and what you might expect if you hire me to photograph local art for your projects)...
Country fences are the best fences:
Here are some shots I took of the Nebraska Prairie Museum in Holdrege:
Holdrege has some beautiful parks. The highlight of my visit to North Park was this heron:
The area around the park was also stunning with the mid-morning sun...
Moving on from downtown Holdrege presented beauty down every random dirt road in the area:
This set of photographs is an example of what designers might get when hiring me to photograph the beauty in the areas around projects. Hospitals, hotels, and local establishments all benefit from the beautiful touchstones and scenes around them.
