Holding on While Letting Go
Sometimes, it’s hard to move on to a new place in life without having a backup plan. Some people move on quickly without needing anything in place. I realized that what you choose can vary based on the situation and definitely based on who you are as a person.
Right and wrong are based on your perspective and what you need at the time. Different people need different things, so it's important to listen to different perspectives. However, understand that you make the choices you need for now, and the final decision is yours.
You can choose any area of life: relationships, jobs or careers, personal development, community involvement, family or domestic life, creativity, or interests. Some people need a guarantee of something before moving on to the next thing.
No matter what it is you are trying to hold onto—jobs, friendships, or relationships—there will come a time when things may become uncomfortable, and you will have to make a choice between the old, the current, and the new. The decision you make is up to you.
