For bad leaders to exist in industries and businesses, the systems require that they be assisted by bad followers, cultures empty of values and honesty, and a certain contempt for the other. Systemically it is impossible to suppose that a group emergent is an anomaly, quite the contrary, whatever the style of the leader, it clearly represents a production of the group in general within the scheme compatible with the most recondite and hidden corners of the laws, which allow the existence of business movements based on unfair competition, lies, ruse or deception, the falsification of operating instruments and the ruthless proposal of "save your self first" or "I have these values, but if you don't like them, I have these others".
Unfortunately, the practices of manipulation based on the empathic incapacity of many captains of industry and corporate leaders who are absolutely disconnected from their supposed obligations, constitute perverse systems of oppression, contempt for others, and both internal and external depersonalization. What ultimately sustains oppressive relationships that in the short term can be apparently convenient, and that has as a hidden framework of mistrust, resentment, and implicit violence, which end up destroying any true possibility of honest construction in the long term, since in those circumstances, everyone seeks to take immediate advantage of relationships, always with an eye toward better possibilities of coexistence, free of values. What makes congruence impossible, with other actors who propose true human bonds, rich in self-exploration, recognition, and synergy, in such a way that they promote healthy and sustainable relationships.
The dishonesty of a leader is licensed by dishonest employees, who, faced with challenges, only limit themselves to giving: the bare minimum to sustain the bond, as long as there are no better alternatives. What neither the employees nor the leaders know are that the habitual of link speculation and attitudinal mediocrity is taking hold and becoming concrete in the personality and behavior of each member of the staff, to the point of converting all those who accept the rules of the game, in mediocre ones that will only be able to sustain themselves in schemes of manipulation and lies, leaving any honest practice for the personal or family sphere, which inevitably causes a divided and fictitious personality, only recognized internally, which generally develops diseases that begin as psychosomatic to later deteriorate the bodies.
Getting used to speculating and relating in a superficial way harms not only the person but also the system of coexistence that sustains relations of power and the oppressed. Lying to each other's faces every day, without prejudice to sharing moments of apparent intimacy and trust (which are part of the corporate game of pretending), without even trying to demonstrate the true point of view or feeling, promotes discomfort of conscience.

With alarming surprise, I have witnessed meetings where those who present clearly talk about what they do not know or do not want to show, and those who listen are not willing to comment or suggest from knowledge or personal experience, but there have been situations of "deafening" silence, that no one questions out of fear and we know that fear will never build the necessary bridges of trust to improve relationships, proposals or the future.
In an uncertain, changing, and complex world, we need inexorably to return to the values that were left out of the equation long ago and have been sustained only by posters in receptions, devoid of true meaning. When what is said ceases to be a representation of what is thought, and what is done has nothing to do with what is proposed, we find ourselves in the worst of all worlds, where survival mode makes it lawful to hide in irresponsibility and deception. Not being able to trust each other, systems that promote hypocrisy and destroy creativity, happiness and commitment are left out, leaving only a mere transaction of immediacy that somehow leads to prey on any hint of nobility, leaving empty structures, destructive of the spirit and human greatness, that bend wills in order to align false visions, that only promote individual and short-term interests, that on a large scale are destroying humanity and life on the planet.
In general, those who stay are of the same status and are comfortable with the lack of commitment, but I have never met someone who, being unhappy or dishonest in their work, has built a full and meaningful life. Unfortunately, when it is too late, the ways of life have become solid neural pathways and both deception and cowardice have left sequels that are difficult to reverse and justify over time, which damages self-perception, causing great depression for not having been given the opportunity to be authentic (recognizing vulnerabilities), brave and honest. To be brave, we must recognize that we do not have all the answers, accept ourselves with our defects and be vulnerable, acting to get out of the comfort zone, which often turns out to be a cruel prison of the human spirit, no matter how many economic achievements at the expense of psychic deterioration have been achieved.
Inevitably there is someone who knows everything you think and what you feel, and who judges you harshly because he knows your virtues, the same ones that you left out of your relationships and long for, he knows of your clear choices and deep fears, condemning you every time you put your head on the pillow, and that someone who suffers by promoting in your children and grandchildren values that you do not have, is you!
